I’m really happy and proud to be part of this cool exhibition in Minneapolis, MN. My piece is inspired in an old riddle I read when I was little in a beautiful book illustrated by Rodez, one of my teachers.

I met this guy at the library’s bus station. He told me his entire life in 15 minutes, he was born in California, grew up in a tough city, he went to Vietnam, he rode with the Hell’s Angels, he is a dad and a grandpa and he’s learning to make jewelry. He didn’t tell me his name, but he’s Charles The Gray at the Renaissance Fair :).
I love all those drawings and photos of classy, beautiful girls traveling with their little suitcases, I really do. but let’s face it, after a 3 stop flight I always look like I survived the zombie apocalypse…
